RMDZ (Recycling Market Development Zone)
The Recycling Market Development Zone (RMDZ) program combines recycling with economic development to fuel new businesses, expand existing ones, create jobs, and divert waste from landfills. This program provides attractive low-interest loans, technical assistance, and free product marketing to businesses that use materials from California's waste stream to manufacture their products. Zones cover roughly 88,000 square miles of California from the Oregon border to San Diego.

Stanislaus County's Zone designation allows qualifying businesses sited within our county limits to take advantage of this program. Local incentives vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Contact your local Zone Administrator for more information. In addition to loans, CalRecycle also offers free product marketing through the RecycleStore.
